Black Friday -- Not just Shopping on the Emerald Coast

Don't let the title mislead you -- Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, and the Emerald Coast is no exception!  With several shopping options, you'll be able to find something for everyone on your list. Beginning with the Destin Commons, voted "Best Place to Shop" by readers of Emerald Coast Magazine, this outdoor, lifestyle shopping center offers the area's largest Christmas tree and a plethora of holiday magic from Christmas lights and carolers to 12 stunning topiary reindeer. The stores at the Silver Sands Premium Outlets offer great choices for brand-name finds. Most of the stores will open on Thanksgiving from 6:00pm to 2:00am and then reopen Black Friday at 6:00am. The Shops at the Village of Baytowne Wharf will be offering their Black Friday Sidewalk Sale, which means an additional 25% off sale items.

If you are looking for non-shopping options, we've got you covered. Make sure to visit the Festival of the Trees, which happens every year in Grand Park. Each tree is decorated by one of the local non-profit organizations and provides information about what the organization does. If you rather be closer to the beach, head to Seagrove Beach for the Turn on the Town parade on Saturday, November 25th at 4:00pm. There will be plenty of holiday festivities, opportunities to take pictures with Santa, and carol singing.

Whether you're looking for great Black Friday deals or family-friendly events, the Emerald Coast has many options. And the best way to experience it all is with a beach-front condo that's easily accessible to all the happenings.
