Love this place. Excellent location and view and love the beach service you get with the chairs and umbrella. Very clean as well! Have stayed here each time came.

This will be where we stay every time we visit. Pool was clean, room was clean and had everything needed to feel at home. My only complaint would be the renovating going on. Couldn’t sleep in with how loud it was but even with that going on, the workers were polite and helped us get our luggage around their tools. Obviously, there’s never a good time to do renovations. With that said, we appreciated getting an email in advance letting us know that this was going on during our visit so we weren’t caught off guard with it. Absolutely loved our stay here!

After staying a few nights in another unit rented from Southern that was very much below par for the amount of money I spent, I went down to the office and met Patti - the rep for Saltwater. She was so helpful in placing us in another unit with them. We loved it! It was exactly what we wanted.After having such a bad experience with Southern and them declining to move us- we were relieved to spend the rest of our vacation in a nice well appointed unit. We enjoyed our time here. The condo and beach service were excellent. The office staff onsite were very helpful and available. I would definitely stay here again for future FL vacations.

Our condo # 711 , we stayed in had a great panoramic view of the Gulf and shoreline. It was clean and had very nice bedrooms and a big inviting kitchen. The property manager Amanda made us feel very welcome during our stay. We would definitely recommend this condo for a beach vacation. We are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Needed some down time from COVID, work and life's stress. Loved Island Princess #711. It was roomy, clean and had a perfect view of the ocean. Island Princess is an easy location to access and is directly on the ocean. I loved being able to access the balcony from the bedroom and the living area. Listening to the ocean the whole time I stayed was fabulous. The pool was heated and perfect for March weather. The pool was small but that was ok...no problem we had the whole ocean. The experience was nice and a great stay --- thank you for the stress relief.

HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. GREAT HELP FOR REPAIRS NEEDED FOR CONDO FROM BECKY AND WES. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT ON ALL CALLS FOR HELP. ALSO, HEATHER IN THE OFFICE AT ISLAND PRINCESS, WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD ABOUT THE SITE OR AREA AS TO FOOD AND SUPPLIES.THANKS TO ALL FOR A GREAT VACATION.

Beautiful condo. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend! Be prepared to wait for elevators but it’s worth it to be on top floor. Great views and so quiet.

View was great. We had a problem with the TV in the living area, but it was resolved shortly after being reported to the agent on duty. Wifi was very slow, we had problems with it, but did not report it to the agent.

One of our best vacations ever. Loved the grill upgrades. Great unit. Had everything we needed. Just hope that something gets done about the really slow wifi by the time we come back next year.

We had a perfect week in this condo. It was beautiful and was very home like. The beach was junkie from the hurricane but that's to be expected. The beach staff is AMAZING. With 4 kids it's a huge help to have everything set up when we got down to the beach. They went above and beyond to help everyone and asked us daily if they could improve anything. They were hard workers. The pool is nice, was not too crowded to have a good swim. The only complaint we had was the couch and love seat. It was so worn out that you couldn't sit on it comfortably. We would consider this condo again if they replace the furniture.

The view was fantastic from the 7th floor balcony! The condo definitely needs improvement. The sofa and love seat were so worn out, they were painful to sit in or try to get out of. The thermostat was not working on the airconditioning, so you were either freezing or frying. The extra blankets and pillows looked like they came out of a dumpster, yuk! Thank goodness we brought our own pillows, but I had to purchase a blanket to use for the week. It is a great location, someone just needs to make some simple upgrades! The building common areas were immaculate, beach access nice. I would recommed this property, just not this unit!

With your feedback we were able to talk to the owner. They are in the process of ordering a new couch and love seat as well as replacing the pillows. We will also have maintenance take a look at the thermostat.

No Parking under the DECK was really annoying, should have been told about it before the booking.
Pool was smaller than most apartment complex Pools.
There was no Pool Bar/Grill.

My children and I had an amazing time. We stay at Fort Walton every Spring break for the past 6 years and we are so happy that we chose to stay in a condo vs a hotel. We normally stay in a hotel but never had an ocean view. We will from now on go through Dale E Peterson Vacations, as well I will be telling my family, friends and co-workers about you! I had no problem getting exactly what I was wanting and the price was better than I had expected. We did have a lady that has a few units there. She gave me some cards and asked that if I represent her over Dale, that she would give me a free 8 day vacation stay a one of her units. However great that sounds, I am keeping my loyalty with Dale E Peterson!!! Thank you for the greatest stay at Fort Walton Beach!!

Loved our stay at the Island Princess. Our condo was nice. The beds were comfortable and we had all the comforts of home. We were steps away from the beautiful sandy beach. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My only complaint is there was no Wifi for all our iphones and ipad. That would have made the visit perfect.

We have stayed with Dale Peterson for the past 4 years at island Princess. We love it, the most relaxing beach we have been to. I recommend this vacation to anyone that wants relaxation and not a lot of traffic and commercial

I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful location. It was a very comfortable stay. We loved the view, we loved the amenities, we loved the space and the how we were close to all of the local attractions. I would not only stay here again, I would reccommend it to everyone wishing to experience the Fort Walton/Destin area!

The driving trip to Ft. Walton was with torential rains and tornado warnings all around. We arrived about 6pm, to find the office already closed. I called the after hours "help line" only to be placed on hold for 45 minutes. Then I hung up. On my sisters phone we called Nashville and got my other sister to try to call on her land line and to check the Peterson website. There was no one available on the live chat and no mention of any problems with the phones, etc.
We had to reserve a room at the nearby Hampton Inn and went to dinner. We had been in Ft. Walton about two plus hours by then, and were stressed and dead to say the least. After leaving the restaurant, I decided to call the help line one more time and finally got a real person. She was chirpy and said that the lines had been down and the IT person had been working on them. I told her it would have been nice if someone had at least put something on the website or sent someone to the office.... She gave me the code to the lock on the after hours lock box. The box, at the Island Princess is high and in an extremely windy corridor. The weather/winds were terrible and it took a long time to finally get the lock open.
After getting into the locked box, we were able to get into the condo.
The condo and the rest of the week were lovely. We loved the location, view, and decor of the unit. I would have given 5 stars for the unit and everything about it. The low score is for the trouble getting into the unit. None of that is the owner's fault. I can't speak highly enough of the Island Princess itself, especially unit 711. The view is gorgeous and it is well equipped. I would hgihly recommend unit 711. We loved the covered parking, the pool, the view, the cleanliness, etc.
It took about three days to recover from the trauma of not being able to get into the box and nobody to be able to contact.

We are returning customers of D.P. Vacations and Okaloosa Island/Ft Walton Beach. It is our favorite place to vacation. We love the sugar white sand and the emerald water. The weather was great for our entire stay.
The condo is beautifully decorated and very confortable. We love having the beach service included, as we spend most of our time down on the beach. We also appreciate having internet service too, as I can keep up on work emails in the evenings.
Having kitchen and laundry facilities in our condo is so important to us. We fix breakfast in the morning and come up for a quick lunch before returning to the beach in the afternoon.
We look forward to our next trip back!

Our experience at the Island Princess was the best ever! Our condo was clean and nice and felt like home. They took very good care of our needs. We loved the complimentary chairs and umbrella set up for us every day at the beach and the other free amenities as well. We will definately return on our next Florida vacation.
