We very much enjoyed our stay at Destin west gulf side. Gulf side is closer to the sandy beach, had 2 pools on our side, a kiddie pool, and a hot tub. If we wanted to go back over to the lazy river it wasn’t bad at all of a walk to go across the bridge. Our stay was in 213.

The condo was perfect for our family of three for a 4th of July vacation! Everything was clean and organized upon our arrival, with plenty of towels and kitchen amenities to satisfy our needs. The location was perfect with easy access to pools (both bayside and gulf side) and the beach. We did purchase additional laundry detergent as we ended up doing more than one load of laundry. We also brought our own beach chairs/umbrella, although there were plenty for rent if needed. Communication was good between Salt Water Vacations, as I did text a few questions we had and received a response immediately. Would definitely recommend for a family with kids as the bunk beds worked out well for our daughter.

The Unit was exactly as advertised. The Saltwater team were great to deal with. We come to the area every winter and have a critical eye and we would not hesitate booking through Saltwater again.

We loved our stay at the condo. Everything was clean and the pool area was close to get to along with the beach. The trees by the balcony were in the way of the the pool view but it was still beautiful. Thank You!

In #213, the pillows in the master bedroom were non-existent, and what little pillow there was had stains on it.
In #107, there was sand on the floor when we first arrived. We had to make the beds. We were given 1 roll of toilet paper for the master bathroom.

condo was clean with a good location, awesome fitness center and easy access to the beach. every person we met was very friendly. only downfall the freezer on the fridges magnet strip did not seal properly, wheels for dining chairs were missing and dryer took a long time to dry (expected for a stack unit). all minor things I would stay there again.

Besides the unit having a musty smell and carpets being in bad shape, we were fine with the unit. We have a two year old, so we didn't want a lot of breakables, which this unit did not have. View from balcony is very limited to the pool only, but again we weren't expecting a gulf view from the second floor. Loved access to the Ramada and the Lazy River. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

We stayed at Destin West #213 during Spring Break 2014. I have two children under the age of 5 and found it to work out great for us. I have two complaints one was that the towels, sheets, pillows and comforters were old, worn, torn and very thin. It would have been nice to have higher quality bedding and towels and for hygiene purposes newer pillows (bed bugs and dust mites). The other complaint was the rugs and carpet in the bedroom. Get rid of the old smelly rugs and just have bare flooring, it is the beach. As for the carpets, they definately need to be replaced they were filled with stains, looked dirty and smelled. Overall it was a nice clean place and I would reccomend it.

I am truly sorry about the quality of the linens you had in your room! I am happy to report that we have recently replenished our linen supply with new linens and you will not have that experience again. Also, now that I am aware that new pillows are needed I can have those replaced as well. Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention.
I have contacted the owner regarding the carpet in the unit and am grateful for your feedback with that as well. It truly helps to keep positive consideration for upgrades when our guests will provide information such as yours.

Thank u all who was incharge of this great resort . I never felt this happy about a vacation before the privacy the room with all it came with it felt very good staying in a cleane fresh and huge room for the price we paied me and my family . I was there for 6 days with my three girls and wife . We had a great time the place was so close to the water u can walk to the beach showers every where . I realy don't have enough wards to describe my vacation . Thank u great team . You will se me in 2 month again we are coming back on the summer . Please let me know if u have new deals thanks

My husband & I stayed in Destin West 213 with our 2 small children and absolutely loved it. The condo was perfect and very comfortable. The views were great and we were close to everything. We have never had a more relaxing vacation. We will definitly be back!!

When we arrived we were very happy with the room. Had a couple of problems which were fixed almost immediately after I let them know. (no frying pan, no bedding for sofa sleeper, and toaster didn't work right) We loved it and would definitely stay again.

This was our first time staying at Destin West and we where impressed with cleanliness and comfort at the condos and around the pools and the beach area.Our children don't say we went to Destin or Fort Walton they say when asked where we went on summer vacation that we went to Destin West.Thanks for a great time.

Everything was wonderful! Wished for closet or dresser by the bunk beds for storage, but not a huge problem. We have used Dale E. Peterson Vacations before and will again.
