We thoroughly enjoyed our time at El Matador 323. The location is perfect with a great view of the beach and pool. The condo is well maintained and clean and we felt very much at home. We enjoyed the beach, went on a sunset cruise, and ate some really good food. We look forward to a return visit. Thank you very much.

From day one this unit was amazing. Access to the beach and pool are super close. The balcony provides one of the most amazing views of the beach and pool. We ate lunch and dinner on the patio a lot due to the incredible weather. Drinks on the patio are awesome and very relaxing. We will definitely make this a yearly staple for our family. Great unit for small kids!

We definitely had a great family vacation with our three boys. The condo had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Everything was nice a clean upon our arrival. The view was so perfect! It was really nice to be able to watch my 10 year old in the pool from the balcony while our baby napped so he wasn't stuck bored in the room. The beach access was so convenient with great wash station. Since it is the last building on the strip, you get an amazing view of the sunset over the dunes. We would be happy to stay here again.

We were very impressed with this condo. We’ve stayed at several on the Island. We will DEFINITELY return to this one. Clean, spacious, quiet area, great beach access. AJ was our beachboy. He was amazing. Called me by name after the first day. Great vacation.!

I was very pleased with my vacation rental. Condo #323 was exactly what I wanted. The pictures online were accurate in depicting the interior as well as the view from the balcony (which was important to me)! The condo was spacious, clean, & well stocked with kitchen ware. I also like the keyless entry and the close proximity to the elevators and laundry. If we vacation to Fort Walton again, I will certainly check the availability of condo #323.

With Real Estate they say location location location brings the best value. Well with this unit it is located at the end of Santa Rosa Blvd where it is quiet, but number one this unit has one of the best view's of the gulf on Okaloosa Island. We will be back in 2015 for our 8th winter vacation.

My Rental experience started off great! with the Dale Peterson staff being very professional & helpful. Check in was very easy ,without having to pick up a key you could arrive at any hour. For my needs the #323 unit to perfect. Very comfortable for 4 people. you just can't beat the location. It's very private being at the end of the island. Pool was very clean, liked a guard being on duty 24hrs, the view from the condo let's you see the beautiful sunset,kitchen was stock well. I have stayed 3 times & will be back.

This unit is one of the very best located in the El Matador Condominium developement, it is located on the 2nd floor which is nice if you don't mind walking up steps. Elevators or available also but sometimes they are slow. The view of the gulf and evening sunsets are the very best. One thing we miss is the washer and dryer, which is not in the unit but conveniently located a few steps from the unit.

This unit is very beautiful and nicely updated. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. It has a great walk in closet you don't usually see in a condo rental. The complex is on the quitet end of the island allowing you to hear the gulf from the bedroom at night and in the morning. The complex is well taken care of even though it's an older development. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Long awaited Vacation.

It has been 10 long years without a vacation, due to my husband having cancer, and then heart surgery right after. That took all of our saving just to survive it all. So it was the most enjoyable time that we have had...since we can remember. It was nice having a view of the ocean while lying in our King size bed every morning. To be able to have everything on site an not have to go out every other day to get things done. The ten minute drive to Destin was so nice and easy. Resturants where great but a little pricie for my husband but that didn't stop us from having a great time. Our daughter and her friend had a great time also, they got to make use of the night life there. Hope to do this again, next year. We will be back at the El Matador #323 again, when we can. Thanks again, Dale for your hospitality and to your very helpful staff.
P.S. This is just a suggestion, put ceiling fans (living room and bedrooms), this could cut down on a/c bill.

We have been going there since 2005. It is awesome!! The view, the pool on the side of the ocean, and the beach is always a welcome sight and so beauitful!! We consider it our second home because we have returned to El matador so many times.

This unit has an excellent view. We like the location very much. It has many updates. The kitchen has always been well stocked and organized with all that is required for preparing meals. The El Matador is located at the end of Okaloosa Island which makes it very quiet and less traffic. The unit was always very comfortable for us. We liked the golf opportunities, shopping and walking on the Beach.

View is wonderful overlooks the grounds, pool and beach. Comfortable unit, kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensials. Unit is on the 2nd floor which makes it easy to walk up if you so desire, although there is a elevator. Convenient parking.
