Add Relaxation to Your Vacation

29541105_2076974239253150_3702139766216726222_nVacation is supposed to be all about relaxing and recharging, but sometimes it doesn’t feel that way. The phrase “I need a vacation from this vacation” exists for a reason. However, on the Emerald Coast there are plenty of opportunities to unwind and destress. Below is a list of ways to add relaxation to your vacation.

Hit the beach.

The Emerald Coast has beautiful beaches from Grayton Beach, The Crab Trap, Navarre Beach and many more. They range from restaurant style beaches with lots of activities to serene national parks.

2. Relax at a spa
If you’re in the mood for a pamper, there are tons of spas to choose from Sandestin to Navarre. Check out Serenity by the Sea Spa, Salamander Spa, or Lux Solis Salon and Spa.

3. Practice yoga

Many of our rentals at hotels offer yoga, but you can check out some local spots for a little bit of zen. Check out Destin Yoga by the Sea, Sunshine Yoga, or Navarre Living Yoga and Healthy Center.

4. Unplug

When on vacation, be sure to truly take a break from work and all things stressful back home. A beach vacation is your time to pamper yourself and truly indulge in relaxation, not worry about deadlines or what you’re missing back home.

5. Savor the moments

A beach vacation to the beautiful Emerald Coast will create memories that last a lifetime. Be sure to savor each moment and not overschedule out of fear of missing out. Choose a few activities to do and really soak in each moment. Be sure to pace yourself so you really give yourself time to enjoy your vacation.

6. Relax at your vacation rental

Salt Water Vacation’s vacation rentals are equipped with comfortable beds, TVs, pools, and are close to the beach. Hear the ocean waves roll by as you relax in the pool or binge watch some quality Netflix shows. You deserve it.
