Cocktails on the Emerald Coast

Cuvee Kitchen wine bar _SWV blogCraft beer, fine wines, and frozen beverages are easy to come by along Florida’s Emerald Coast but to find delicious handcrafted cocktails can be a bit harder. We’ve found the best places for unique alcoholic beverages throughout Northwest Florida, and the must-try drinks at each location.

Great Southern Cafe
Great Southern Cafe, located in the heart of Seaside, is known not only for its delicious comfort food but also for the best mojitos around! The restaurant offers ten flavor options to include coconut-melon and guava-pineapple. All of Great Southern Cafe’s mojitos are made with fresh fruit and mint. Be sure to put this refreshing cocktail on your must-drink list for your next trip to the Emerald Coast.

Craft Bar
While Craft Bar is known for beer, their menu also features multiple cocktails for those that prefer hard liquor. In addition to a menu of traditional cocktails including a Sazerac and a Manhattan, you’ll find a seasonal cocktail menu as well. Although these drinks are not always available, you are sure to find something delicious on the menu. The seasonal beverages usually incorporate local ingredients. For example, the “Dirty Granny” is a whiskey-based drink featuring local honey. Craft Bar has multiple locations throughout the region including a restaurant in Destin and Miramar Beach.

Havana Beach Rooftop Lounge
This rooftop bar in Rosemary Beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico may be best known for its views, but the lounge’s drinks are not to miss! The bar’s menu echos its name featuring many Cuban-inspired cocktails including its most popular drink “Hemingway Daiquiri.” This rum-based beverage includes lime and grapefruit juice making a light refreshing hand-crafted concoction.

1835 Porch Bar
If you want to try a variety of drinks, 1835 Porch Bar in Destin is your place! This cocktail bar offers an extensive menu of drinks unique to this establishment. The popular “Mayan Coffee” includes tequila, cinnamon, and coffee from a nearby, local coffee shop JumpinGoat Coffee.

Boshamps
Boshamps Seafood and Oyster House is a local favorite. With a huge bar and a lengthy list of custom cocktails, visitors and locals crowd this place year-round. Labeled “a drink you can only find at Boshamps,” “Makers Miller Way” includes Maker’s Mark with a splash of your favorite mixer.

Cuvee Kitchen + Wine Bar
