Florida’s Emerald Coast is known for being a family-friendly beach destination that is a fun getaway for all ages. Once you book your stay, here are some fun activities you should add to your trip itinerary.  

Destin Commons  
Best known for its plethora of retail stores, Destin Commons is a destination in itself. With an AMC movie theater, bowling alley, splash pad for kids, Luckey Climber climbing gym and a variety of restaurants, Destin Commons is the perfect place to gather with family and spend the entire day because no matter the ages of the people in your party, this outdoor shopping center has something for everyone.  

Rock Out Climbing Gym  
Rock Out is one of the Emerald Coast’s newest activities. Climbing is a great way for the whole family to get exercise while on vacation. The best part? It’s an indoor climbing gym, so it’s perfect for the rainy days you won’t be spending on the beach.  

The Hub on 30A  
This place is the perfect vacation hang out spot. The Hub is home to a variety of food trucks, shops, and eateries, along with an entertainment area that often features live music or movies. This is the perfect spot for families to eat, shop, drink, and play.  

Beach
The most obvious family-friendly activity on your Destin vacation - the beach! With so many options for pastimes on the beach, the entire family can enjoy building sandcastles, playing in the waves, throwing a frisbee and so much more.  

Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park  
At the Gulfarium, visitors can get up close to multiple marine animals, including dolphins, sea lions, and penguins. Along with breathtaking views of the Gulf, the Marine Park offers shows, animal chats, animal encounters and more. The marine park prides itself on being dedicated to educating, entertaining, and inspiring guests to respect and preserve wildlife.  
  
The Track  
This family-fun park is ideal for kids and the young-at-heart! The Track is home to go-karts, an arcade room, mini-golf, bumper cars, and rides. This attraction truly offers something for all ages and is a very popular evening activity in Destin.  

Charter Boat  
With Destin being the “world’s luckiest fishing village,” we highly suggest that visitors take advantage of spending time on the emerald green waters. No matter if you want to fish, relax or head to Crab Island, as long as safety precautions are taken, a day out on a charter boat is a fun activity for all ages.  

Lulu’s  
Also one of the most popular restaurants in Destin, LuLu’s is the perfect hang out spot for some family-friendly fun. This waterfront eatery features delicious food, live music and a bay-front beach where the kids can play in the sand.  

Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone  
This place is what an adventurous kid’s dreams are made of! Wild WIlly’s Adventure Zone features an indoor arcade, putt-putt golf courses, a ropes course, a 4D movie theater, laser tag, and more. Family members of all ages can enjoy the activities offered at this Okaloosa Island attraction!
