Destin Date Night Ideas

If you are heading to Florida’s Emerald Coast with someone special, check out the different date night options you have available for you on your beach vacation.

Destin Commons
For those that can’t decide exactly how they want to spend their evening, we suggest you head to the Destin Commons. With shopping, multiple dinner options, post-dinner sweet treats, a movie theater and more, it’s the perfect place for a unique night out with your loved one. From quick eats to sit-down restaurants, the Destin Commons has options for a date night for all budgets.

Have a Nice Dinner with a View
With so many Gulf-front restaurants, it’s not hard to have a delicious dinner with a view along the Emerald Coast. We suggest eating fresh Gulf seafood on your date night. A few local favorites include 790 on the Gulf at The Inn at Crystal Beach, Harbor Docks and Beach Walk Cafe.

Walk on the Beach
If you are looking to spend a romantic evening on a budget, head to Destin’s white-sand beaches. Bring drinks, snacks, and chairs and watch the sunset. It’s the perfect way to spend an evening in Destin and it will make for unforgettable memories on your beach vacation.

Sunset Cruise on the Solaris
Dine, dance and cruise on the Sunquest Cruises’ Solaris Yacht! Sailing from Sandestin, the Solaris offers weekly fine dining public cruises that are the perfect way to spend an evening with your partner. The boat sets off at the perfect time for you to experience the sunset on the Choctawhatchee Bay during your date night on the water.

Amusement Park
The Track Destin is a perfect date night location for the young at heart. With mini-golf, go-karts, bumper cars, rides and more, the Track has more than enough entertainment for those looking to enjoy a fun night out.

Live Music
There’s no shortage of live music along the Emerald Coast. Popular venues that often host entertainment include HarborWalk Village, LuLu’s Destin and The Village at Baytowne Wharf. Grab dinner or drinks at any of these locations while you enjoy local performers.
