Are you trying to plan for your upcoming vacation? Here are events happening on Florida’s Emerald Coast in October that you can add to your itinerary!  

Wellness Wednesdays - October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30  
Head to Grand Boulevard every Wednesday morning in October for a sweat session! Grand Fitness will host a complimentary 50-minute group fitness class beginning at 9 a.m. in Grand Park.

Mattie Kelly Concerts in the Village - October 3 &10  
The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s annual Concerts in the Village fall shows are almost over! Head to the MKAF Outdoor Amphitheater on the first two Thursdays in October for an evening of good food, great company and live music. Tickets can be purchased at the door. 

Destin Seafood Festival - October 4-6
Serving the Emerald Coast for more than 40 years, the Destin Seafood Festival is a family-friendly event on the Destin Harbor that features live music, shopping, multiple activities for kids and of course delicious Gulf seafood. The best part is that entrance to this event is free!  

Women’s Climbing Circle - October 5  
Head to Rock Out Climbing Gym for their monthly women’s climbing session. The event is an opportunity to meet new climbing partners, focus on climbing goals and enjoy a safe community space of like-minded women.   

30A Half Marathon & 5K - October 11-13  
The 4th annual 30A Half Marathon & 5K weekend will kick off with the 30A BBQ Festival starting on Friday, October 11 and conclude with race day on Sunday, October 13. This scenic out-and-back course will start and finish at Gulf Place on Scenic Highway 30A.

Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival - October 11 & 12
Sample local brews, listen to live music, and shop at Sandestin merchants during the 12th Annual Baytowne Beer Fest. More than 200 craft beers will be available for tasting. Buy your tickets early, because tickets for the beer fest events sell out!  

Harvest Wine and Food Festival - October 24-26
Rated as one of the premier wine and food festivals in the Southeast, Harvest Wine & Food Festival invites visitors to sip and savor some of the world’s finest wine and culinary selections. The weekend’s lineup includes a celebrity winemakers dinner, a wine seminar and more. Purchase tickets for the event here.  

Barktoberfest - October 24  
This annual doggie social and fundraising event takes place at Grand Park in Grand Boulevard. Attendees and their pets are encouraged to dress in their Halloween best and enjoy a canine-only trick-or-treating event.

Halloween Haunt at the Destin Commons - October 25  
Join the Destin Commons for a frightfully fun time for the family to celebrate Halloween! This eerie event will be full of kid’s creepy crafts, fantasy face painting, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest. 

Oktoberfest at Seascape - October 26  
Head to Seascape from 1-5 p.m. on October 26 for their inaugural Oktoberfest. Enjoy food from local restaurants and a large selection of brews. Tickets for this event are on sale now. Learn more about the event here.  

Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s Festival of the Arts - October 26 & 27 
The 24th Annual Festival of the Arts brings more than 100 artists to Destin to showcase their work and compete for thousands of dollars in prize money. This tradition combines the best cultural art talent for a two-day celebration of hands-on arts, craft activities for children, a live music line-up, delicious food, and fun. 

Halloween Dinner Cruise - October 31  
Climb aboard a dinner cruise on Halloween Night for a fun evening filled with live music, a chef-prepared menu, and a costume contest! Arrive dressed to impress, because the winner of the costume contest will win tickets for 4 for any future Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard Solaris!

Halloween on the BOOlevard - October 31  
Families and kids are invited to trick-or-treat throughout Grand Boulevard’s Town Center at this spooky fun event!  

Trick-or-Treat Street - October 31  
This Halloween, trick-or-treat through the streets of the Village of Baytowne Wharf where you can visit the merchants for your favorite treats. The DJ will play good tunes on the main stage, while children can enjoy balloon animals and crafts.
