Absolutely perfect. They had security on the property to keep out the public. Only resort guests were allowed around pools and the beach......not crowded at all. Customer service from the cleaners all the way to Amanda, who made sure we got in just fine, was exceptional.

We have been staying at the three Summerwind buildings for nearly 20 years, almost every year. The last several times we have stayed in 1202W and have enjoyed it immensely. However, this year they totally renovated the entire condo with new flooring, paint, furniture and furnishings. I thought it was good before, but it is absolutely fantastic now.

We had an awesome time!! The view from our room was spectacular. The fishing pier was right there for easy access. The staff we very nice and helpful. We had 4 kids with us and they were never bored.

Had an amazing time on Navarre Beach. The condo was perfect for our family, so comfortable and very well equipped. The Summerwinds property is amazing, pools were great, beach access is so convenient. 5 star rating for sure! Can't wait until next time!

We enjoyed a great vacation! This area is not too jammed with people like Destin and Orange Beach providing a much more relaxed atmosphere. Then, if you want a little more temporary excitement for a few hours, it's a short drive away. But, there is plenty to do and be entertained on Navarre Beach and Navarre. The ocean front condo are fantastic.

The condo was the usual except it had an extra room with bunk beds that would have been great for kids. Daily beach chairs and umbrella came with the price of the room. Beach was beautiful and had very few people. Nice pool area. Next door to the fishing pier and a great little bar/restaurant.

Condo is very nice, and well decorated. The master mattress was sooo comfortable we came home and realized we needed to purchase a new one for our home. The kitchen was well stocked with gear and we cooked a bit. The reclining couch was enjoyed by all. People fought over who got to sit there. 6th floor view is amazing-not too high. We watched dolphins from the balcony. Only complaints were a few maintenance issues like remote controls didn't work well, blinds in master were broken, and unit next door has loud running appliance at times.

This is one of my favorite locations. The beach is beautiful, the wate is crystal clear, the condo we stayed in was excellent. Rolling over in bed in the morning to look out the sliding glass door to the ocean and dolphins swimming lazy is the only word. Amenities at the condo cover all bases. This one had 3 bedrooms ample space for 8 without having to use the couch a couple full sized bathrooms. Full kitchen. No noises from neighbors through the walls. No need to lug chairs to the beach, there are some from the condo and nice gentlemen to plant them at the ready for you right on the water line. And the beach location is far enough away from the busy neighboring towns that there is no crowd. All I can say peaceful relaxing vacation spot.

My Husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Summerwind Resort. We will be back next year. The Condo was very nice and clean. We really loved the area and that it was close to the pier. The water and the sand was so pretty.
We will be taking the whole family next time we go.I loved watching the dolphins out in the ocean playing. This is a view nice place to have a family vacation.

The condo was very comfortable and had all them amenities of home plus a wonderful view of the ocean and beautiful white beaches. The condo was clean, although the bath linens didn't smell fresh, and we were able to wash them since the unit had a washer and dryer.The atmosphere was very relaxing and family-friendly. The grounds were very clean and upkept. From the first contact I made online with a DEP representative, Jen, until we left the parking lot, our trip was very easy to plan and enjoy. We would have loved for more family activities and restaurants to have been near the resort, but we drove into Destin a time or two. Our family will most likely make plans to go back again in the near future.

This place is awesome!
There are two bars right next to the condo. You don't have to drive. It's just a few feet from the apartment. Also, each building has it's own private pool so you don't have a crowded pool all the time.
The water is clear just like those pics from Hawaii. If you enjoy fishing the pier is right next to the condo.

Very nice. Much larger than expected. We will stay at this property when we visit the area again. The entire booking process took only a few minutes online and there were no hassles with check in; just show up and puch in the door code. Very enjoyable.

we spent a long weekend at summerwind west over the fourth of july and had one of our best summer vacations. things we were impressed with the cleanliness of the condo and community, the organization at the beach with umbrellas/chairs, and though a 'busy' weekend, the feeling that we were not 'crowded' on the beach and surroundings. we enjoyed the amenities in the condo that felt like home. the only thing that was missing for our perfect weekend was being able to bring our two westies - wish that there was a pet friendly accomodations.

This was our second stay at Summerwind with Dale Peterson Vacations and it was equally as wonderful as our first stay. The only conern I might have is the abundence of people who bring pop up beach canopies and leave them along with their mess out on the beach night after night. It is not fair to those of us who have rented condos with beach service or who rent beach service in addition to our condo. It should be mandatory that these patrons take down their canopies every night. They are beach hogs who ruin it for all of us. And, many just leave their canopies behind when they leave town, leaving their trash for the beach service to pick up. I understand there is an ordinance conerning this issue, but it is not enforced. Because of this, the beach is not swept and the trash settles into the sand. Hate to see Navarre Beach go the way of other beaches and become a trash pile of left belongings. It is a real concern and one that should be reviewed and the ordinance should be enforced so that we all can once again enjoy the beautiful beaches of Navarre. Nothing worse then sitting on your beautiful balcony in the evening (of which we pay a nice price)to see pop up canapies, floats, buckets, sand toys, chairs ect. sitting on the beach all day and all night. Make them clean up thier stuff!!!
Other than that, wonderful vacation.

loved the condo, price was right.
No mailbox key for over 2 weeks, 1 week to replace batteries & light bulbs & do minor repairs. Should have extra help available at times when many people are checking in to take care of these little things more quickly.
